Mince Pie Croissant at PAUL Bakery, London

Move over Cronut, the mince pie croissant (or moissant - which I'm thinking may have to be the official name) is taking your place this Festive season!

Get your cold winter mornings off to a festive start with the Christmassy mince pie croissant that PAUL has created. Let’s be honest, it’s the croissant creation we’ve all been waiting for, but never actually thought of. The all-butter croissant is stuffed with sweet mincemeat and dusted with icing sugar, the perfect conception!

The greatest breakfast to wake up to on Christmas morning, or any other morning for that matter. The croissants cost £1.75 each and launch in UK PAUL stores on the 28th November, so sorry you'll have to wait until then, but if you can’t you can order them online now!

And not only that…

If you can't wait for the croissant and want to join the festive eating before then you can feast on their selection of Christmas sandwiches! Back by popular demand, after being voted the number one Christmas sandwich in London by Time Out last year is the Dinde de Noël. An artisan sage and onion baguette studded with cranberries, loaded with succulent sliced turkey, smoky bacon and spinach, topped with a rich cream cheese and horseradish sauce. And I have to say, it is GOOD. A little taste of Christmas on some amazing freshly baked bread. PAUL’s bread is to die for.

There’s also a limited edition vegan Christmas sandwich, The Merry Veggie sandwich. Using a speciality bread, baked with roasted, spiced pumpkin and rosemary and then generously filled with radicchio, grilled courgette, grilled carrot, fresh spinach and crispy onion, complemented by a warming beetroot and horseradish compote.

The limited edition Christmas 2017 sandwich is The Cosy Christmas Pig Sandwich, a spin on pigs in blankets. Slices of Lincolnshire sausage layered with bacon, sliced apple, fresh spinach and a sweet apple jam, snuggled into a specially created PAUL apricot and sage baguette.

They also do a rich, thick and indulgent hot chocolate which is perfect to keep you warm this winter season!
