Six places to indulge this Pancake Day in London


London restaurants have upped their Pancake game for this years Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday as it's most commonly named which is on Tuesday 5th March this year. From savoury offerings, pizza and vegan pancakes there really is something for everyone to over-indulge in in London for this year's Pancake Day... here are a selection of six that I think are definitely worth a visit!


Christopher's in Covent Garden, famed for their ultra fabulous and delicious french toast are going big this year to celebrate Pancake Day. They never fail to dissapoint with their epic pancake offering each Pancake Day and they definitely haven’t this year.

Offering a Cinnamon Doughnut Pancake Stack sounds like the a WINNER, as well as an Oreo & White Chocolate Pancake stack, or if savoury is your preference – indulge in Butter Poached Lobster & Truffle! They also offer a Build Your Own option for those wanting to create their own!

Get down to Flat Iron Square for a more traditional stack this year, as well as their classic savoury and sweet buttermilk pancakes they are taking it back with some tasty lemon and sugar creations. A Very Lemony Affair comes complete with two pancakes, raspberries, lemon coated pistacchios, candied lemon peel ricotta cream, lemon zested raspberries, more zest, more lemon and a bit of sugar. If this isn’t your vibe they also do pancakes with avocado, halloumi and vegan, gluten free and wheat free options. Perfect for everybody!

Breakfast Club

The almighty Breakfast Club have some up with some genius creations making all of our pancake dreams come true for this year's Pancake Day. You can expect British and American sweet treat combos like a stack packed with fried chicken, a crispy duck pancake inspired vegan option as well as a super sweet peanut butter, banana and jam creation and a deep fried pancake pie drenched in custard!! Enough to satisfy your sweet tooth?

If you can’t get down there tomorrow, don’t worry, the pancaked will be available from Pancake Day on the 5th of March until the 8th of March.

The Breakfast Club annual Pancake Challenge is also back again this year. 12 pancakes in 12 minutes or less. Win? The stack is on them. Lose? You pay & they donate the profits to our volunteering program which supports local charities & communities.

Bottomless pancakes and Prosecco, yes please! Bluebird Chelsea and White City are having a pancake takeover complete with a six-level pancake tower drizzled in chocolate, a bacon and egg pancake sandwich and bottomless pancakes with Prosecco and more toppings than you could fit in like marshmallows, that all important Nutella, maple syrup, berries. Get down there to satisfy that sweet tooth!

Chelsea and White City


The 8 Mac Stack is as EPIC as it looks. Scottish inspired pancakes created by eight fluffy Highland crepes served with a deep-fried Mars Bar, garnished with whisky caramel sauce and peanut butter drizzle.
