La Brisa, Bali
Two weeks in Bali somehow came and went and I can’t help but constantly reminisce on what an amazing baecation I had. My Instagram feed is literally filled of greenery and the most flawless shots of everything Bali had to offer, I honestly have pictures to last me all through 2018!!
I arrived for the first part of my trip - seven nights in Seminyak - just a few weeks after the opening of the hottest new beach club in Bali. It was around a 40 minute drive from Seminyak, costing around 100,000IDR.
Nestled on the foreshore of Echo Beach, one of the most well known beaches in Canguu, La Brisa is home to an absolutely breathtaking décor and a stunning location.
Taking over from the beach club on everybody's lips, Potato Head, which was and pretty much still is all the rage. La Brisa on Echo Beach in Canggu is a mesmerising place in the most beautiful of settings.
Walking in along the wooden paths with palm trees towering overhead, the scene is perfection, like something out of one of those perfectly planned travel Instagram pages.
A mystical, gypsy shipwrecked type decor, with a rustic nautical feel, scattered around are comfortable bean bags, hanging egg chairs, swings and hammocks. After a short stroll down the shady path you come face to face with the glimmering lagoon pool and the waves of the ocean crashing just overhead.
To ensure a spot in perfect view of the sunrise I advise you book before.
They have cute bean bag chairs on the floor, deck chairs facing the beach or more comfortable sofa bed/chair type of things with conveniently placed tables in the middle, these come with a minimum spend of around 500,000 IDR (around £30). Once you order two drinks and a couple of snacks, that's pretty much covered.
The food selection is quite minimal and mainly seafood based, and although they have a restaurant majority of the food isn't served until after 6pm. I arrived at La Brisa at around 3pm and lounged around the entire day until around 8pm, after the sun set. The evening is quite magical and looks like something from a fairytale. I almost couldn't believe it when I looked up and the sky was shades of pink, purple and blue, it looked it had been filtered!
I recommend adding La Brisa to your Bali bucket list, it's the perfect beach club for a lazy day or if you just need some Instagram candy. It is a beach club you have to experience first hand.
